Mrs. Marie Royce, Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs, visited the UTech Lab Technology Laboratory on Saturday, October 5, 2019.

Mrs. Royce was accompanied by Mrs. Jennifer Schueler, US Embassy Athens Cultural Attache, Bari Rogoff, Special Advisor, and Matthew Bartlett, Director of Public Affairs and Strategic Communications, as well as members of the US Embassy in Athens. During her visit, she was guided to the UTech Lab and was informed over the workshops and programs carried out. She also attended the parents’ and students’ briefing on the FLEX student exchange program of “the American Councils for International Education”. Ms. Anastasia Frangou, representative of the program in our country and Mr. Joe Bilz, Manager for Field Operation in American Councils for International Education presented the FLEX program to the public.

The UTech Lab was created by the Eugenides Foundation with the cooperation and support of the American Embassy in Athens. The UTech Lab is a creative laboratory for young people dedicated to modern technologies while participation in its workshops is free of charge.
