Eugenides Foundation, on the event of the Summer Solstice, organized a big celebration for allages, in the afternoon of Tuesday 18th, June 2019, with free entry, and “kickstarted” the opening of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the day Man stepped on the Moon.

- Digital Show: “From Earth to the Moon”
Shows: 20:30, 21:30 and 22:30
Prior to the show, our host and Director of the Eugenides Planetarium, Dr Manos Kitsonas along with Mrs Tina Nantsou, Physicist and cooperator of the Physics Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, as well as a very well known blogger, talked about the anniversary. Later Mrs Nantsou performed experiments with simple materials, teaching Astronomy in a totally different way.
