Make your own thermometer!

Do you like physics and craft activities?

Have you ever wondered how an analog thermometer actually works? Are you aware of the fluid that is used and why that in particular?

The Science and Technology Center of the Eugenides Foundation invites you to participate in the fifth Online Challenge entitled: Make your own thermometer!

If you are between the ages of 9 and 99, take part in an activity that will expand your knowledge and test your construction skills!

All you have to do is follow these simple steps:

1. Download the file with the instructions here. (in Greek).
2. Gather the necessary materials.
3. Follow the instructions and make your own thermometer.
4. Take photos of your construction.
5. Upload your videos on social media and tag the Science and Technology Centre of the Eugenides Foundation on Facebook or Instagram. You can also send your photos and/or videos directly to our pages via direct messaging.

All successful attempts will be posted on the Eugenides Foundation’s social media.
