Polaris. The Space Submarine and the Mystery of the Polar Night (Children's Book)

James Winter, a traveling penguin from the South Pole, and Vladimir Chekhov, a friendly bear from the North Pole, meet on the Arctic ice. They become friends, talk about their home countries, gaze at the stars, and wonder why the nights are so long at the Earth’s two poles! In an effort to solve the mystery... they build an observatory and construct a makeshift spaceship. That's more or less how they end up traveling around Earth and from there on to Mars and Saturn to find the answers they're looking for! Polaris is an enjoyable story that combines knowledge with rich and stunning graphics!
