The Eugenides Foundation is one of the most important institutions dedicated to supporting education, training, and the dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge in Greece, with a history spanning more than seventy years of continuous service.

Since its founding in 1956, it has fostered a stable and evolving environment in which science, technology, and education are meaningfully linked to society and the real economy.

With a clear strategic focus on strengthening technical and vocational education, the Foundation recognized early on that a country’s progress is based not only on theoretical knowledge but also on the development of practical skills. It systematically invests in developing a workforce capable of meeting the needs of production, technology, and modern professions, while promoting innovation and sustainable development.

Its scope encompasses a broad and complementary range of activities that together form a comprehensive ecosystem of learning and experience. Through scholarships, educational publications, donations, modern educational infrastructure, and specialized centers, the Foundation transforms knowledge into action, creating meaningful opportunities for education, training, and personal development. At the same time, it serves as a bridge between science and society, making scientific knowledge accessible, understandable, and truly useful to everyone.

Its long-standing and consistent presence has built a strong relationship of trust with Greek society, making it a benchmark for the dissemination of technical knowledge and the enhancement of the educational process. In a rapidly changing environment, where artificial intelligence, automation, the digital economy, and the green transition are redefining skills and professions, the Eugenides Foundation maintains an active, proactive, and strategic role.

With a focus on the younger generation, it continues to design and implement initiatives that strengthen technical education, promote modern knowledge, and cultivate skills that make a real difference. It remains committed to its mission: to develop individuals with sound judgment, creativity, and expertise—people capable of understanding, adapting to, and shaping the world of tomorrow.
