- A ticket is valid ONLY for one (1) person and only for the date and time indicated on the ticket.
- The purchase of tickets for promotional or commercial purposes is not permitted without the written permission of the Eugenides Foundation. (EF).
- Only tickets purchased at official sales locations are considered valid.
- Entry is not permitted to the Planetarium, the Science and Technology Center, the UTech Lab, the Autonomous Systems Laboratory, or, in general, to other facilities of the Eugenides Foundation where activities requiring a ticket for entry are taking place to ticket holders with tickets for a different date and time.
- Ticket purchase: Before purchasing your tickets, make sure you have selected the correct date, time, and event for your visit, as once your transaction is complete, refunds or ticket changes are only possible under certain conditions.
Specifically:
- For all events in the public area (except for public workshops), ticket cancellations are permitted up until the start time of the event and must be processed in person at the Foundation’s ticket office.
- For workshops in the public area, ticket cancellations are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of the event and must be made in person at the Foundation’s ticket office.
- For workshop series in the public zone, ticket cancellations are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of the first workshop in the series and must be processed in person at the Foundation’s ticket office.
In all three of the above cases, refunds are processed as follows:
-If the initial transaction—the purchase of tickets—was made at the ticket office, either in cash or via POS, the refund will be issued in cash by the cashier.
-If the initial transaction—the purchase of tickets—was made online, the refund is issued to the card used for the original charge.
-For online workshops and workshop series, cancellations are not permitted after purchase. - Terms of Use for Translation Devices at the Planetarium:
- A valid ID, student ID, or driver’s license must be presented to receive a translation device.
- Please return the translation receivers to the Eugenides Foundation ticket office after the performance ends.
- The translation receivers are not compatible with any devices other than those in the Planetarium’s translation network.
- In the event of loss, the replacement cost is two hundred euros (€200) per translation receiver, and the user is responsible for this cost.
- Upon receipt of the translation receivers, you declare that you have read, understand, and accept that the Eugenides Foundation, in accordance with the terms of applicable legislation regarding the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, and in the event that the translation receivers are not returned, may use the personal data included in the form you submit to receive the translation device (i.e., ID card, student ID, driver’s license, etc.). The purpose of using your data will be to locate you so that we can return the form you submitted to us, as well as return the translation device. - In the event of a cancellation of the Planetarium show, or if it is not possible to visit the Science and Technology Center, the UTech Lab Technology Lab, or the Autonomous Systems Lab or, more generally, any other facility of the Eugenides Foundation where an event requiring admission with a ticket is held—due to force majeure, inclement weather, strikes, government restrictions, technical issues, etc., the Eugenides Foundation reserves the right to modify the schedule of performances and tours, as well as their dates and times.
- The purchase of a ticket entitles you to attend: the Planetarium show or visit the Science and Technology Center, the UTech Lab, the Autonomous Systems Lab, or other facilities of the Eugenides Foundation where activities requiring admission by ticket are held, only if you accept and comply with the venue’s terms of operation.
- Admission is not permitted to the Planetarium’s screening room after the show has begun, nor to the Science and Technology Center, the UTech Lab, or the Autonomous Systems Laboratory, or other areas of the Eugenides Foundation where activities requiring a ticket are taking place, after the scheduled entry time. The Science and Technology Center's exhibition area is closed during the weekend.
- Organized groups and schools that have made a reservation or purchased tickets should arrive at least half an hour before the start of the performance.
- Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult to be admitted (workshops are excluded).
- Admission to events organized by the Eugenides Foundation (films, science shows, exhibitions, workshops, etc.) to children younger than the recommended age specified in the event description, as posted on the Foundation’s website. In any case, it is not recommended that children under the age of 5 attend Planetarium shows or participate in the Foundation’s experiments and other activities.
- The use of cell phones is not permitted during the Planetarium show or while visiting the Science and Technology Center’s Amphitheater, the UTech Lab,or the Autonomous Systems Laboratory, or in other areas of the Eugenides Foundation where activities requiring a ticket for admission are taking place.
- The use of audiovisual equipment is not permitted (video recording, audio recording, or photography of Planetarium shows, presentations in the Science and Technology Center Amphitheater, or any part thereof) or in the UTech Lab, the Autonomous Systems Laboratory, or other areas of the Eugenides Foundation where activities requiring a ticket for admission are taking place. The ticket holder acknowledges that EF has the right to verify the above.
- Visitors are responsible for keeping an eye on their personal belongings. The EF is not liable in the event of their loss.
- The purchase of a ticket does not entitle the holder to receive any product from the cafeteria without paying for it.
- Persons under the influence of alcohol or other substances are prohibited from entering the premises. It is prohibited to bring bottles, other hazardous items, or flammable materials onto the building’s premises.
- Security cameras are in operation on the IE premises.
- Food and beverages are not permitted inside the Planetarium, the Science and Technology Center, the UTech Lab, the Autonomous Systems Lab, or, more generally, in other areas of the Eugenides Foundation where activities requiring a ticket for admission are taking place.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas of the building.
- The consumer may pay using a credit, debit, or prepaid card—Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Diners, American Express, Union Pay.
- The Eugenides Foundation does not transfer personal data; however, in pursuit of its mission and in fulfillment of its legal obligations, and if so required by the competent authorities, the Eugenides Foundation may transfer information—which may include personal data—to the competent authorities.
- The Eugenides Foundation informs you that you have all the rights provided by the legislation on the protection of personal data (access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability, etc.), as well as the right to request an explanation regarding the processing of such data, in accordance with the provisions of the law, by contacting the Eugenides Foundation (L. 387 Syggrou Ave., ZIP Code 175 64 P. Faliro) or by email at info@eef.edu.gr.
- These Terms of Use are governed by Greek law. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens.
