The Eugenides Foundation’s New Digital Planetarium, which first welcomed the public in November 2003, is an amphitheater-style space covering 945 m² with a capacity of 278 seats, surrounded by a massive hemispherical dome.
Thanks to its state-of-the-art technical equipment and by combining all the creative and technical capabilities offered by modern audiovisual media and new technologies, it is able to project impressive shows across the entire dome, showcasing developments in astronomy as well as other natural sciences.
