The EF Website sends newsletters to any Users that so wish, after they have given their explicit consent by completing the relevant form providing certain personal information for which confidentiality and privacy laws apply. In this way Users may register so as to receive information (e.g. newsletters, press releases, etc.) without this action in any way meaning that they acquire intellectual property rights on any such information/data received. In any case the rights to this information are protected by the relevant provisions of Greek and European laws, as well as international conventions, and are exclusively reserved by the EF. Acceptance or not of any User subscription to any service is at the exclusive discretion of the EF, which may also cancel any such subscription.
Any User wishing to receive the EF newsletter is required to fill in his/her name and email address in the special form provided on the Website. Personal records are maintained and processed by the EF for the purpose of communicating with its Users, provide services to them, disseminate information and implement and upgrade the activities, programmes and services that are developed either by the EF itself or in collaboration with other entities in relation to the education of young people in the scientific and technical fields. Personal data collected is exclusively maintained by the EF in an electronic and/or physical file and may be processed for the purposes described above until such time as the User declares his/her wish to no longer receive the newsletter by sending a request to the email address info@eef.edu.gr or by selecting ‘Unsubscribe’ at the end of the newsletter subscription page.
