The digital presentation “Space Storms and the Northern Lights” invites you on a thrilling journey to discover the most spectacular and violent weather phenomena in our solar system. From the winds of Neptune, which blow at speeds of 2,000 km/h, to Jupiter’s giant anticyclone, which could fit at least two planets like ours inside it, this show reminds us that we are truly lucky to live on Earth! Solar storms, on the other hand, can short-circuit our telecommunications satellites and cause widespread power outages. At the same time, however, as they interact with our planet’s magnetic field, they create one of nature’s most beautiful phenomena: the aurora borealis.
