Discover how the human body's systems work.

How much energy does a piece of candy contain, and how is that energy released in the human body? Why does our sense of taste change when our nose is stuffy? A series of selected experiments designed to reveal to students how their bodies work.

Students are familiar with the main functions of the digestive, respiratory, circulatory, and nervous systems. They observe how these systems work together and relate their everyday activities to fundamental principles of physics, chemistry, and biology.

Modules

  1. Digestive system.
  2. Respiratory system.
  3. Circulatory system.
  4. Nervous system (hearing, vision, taste).

Educational Objectives

Introducing students to the human body.

Explaining complex concepts in a simple, interesting, and enjoyable way.

Connecting the material to everyday life.
