"Educational robotics, based on the principles of constructivism, is a modern educational tool that can bring multiple benefits to the learning process. One of these benefits is the development of learning motivation among those involved in the learning process. Motivation is enhanced through active participation and collaboration in activities that address real-world problems and are of interest to those involved."

He went on to say that “in this context, our Association came up with the idea of creating a robot that would visit our elementary schools and, using a current topic (currently COVID-19), it will interact with the children and introduce them to robotics and programming.” The Eugenides Foundation embraced our idea and helped bring it to fruition through a donation. The robot, which we named ZOEBOT, was created entirely in Greece by the National Center for Research and Technological Development (EKETA/IPTIL), right here in Thessaloniki.”
