The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Island Policy has published a call for expressions of interest in writing a new textbook for the Public School for the Further Training of Merchant Marine Officers(D.S.E.N.-MET.THAL.), with the aim of supporting the implementation of the revised Curriculum and adapting it to the contemporary needs and functions of the Merchant Marine Steward profession.
Expressions of interest, supporting documents, the writing samples to be reviewed and evaluated, as well as the detailed table of contents of the book being written, must be submitted in person by the candidates [or by mail via certified letter or via email (dekn.a@hcg.gr)] to the Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy, DEKN A’, Vasileiadis Coast, Gate E1-E2, P.O. Box 185 10 Piraeus, no later than April 30, 2026.
