Books for students at OAED schools
In July 1972, the Eugenides Foundation signed an agreement with the Manpower Employment Organization (OAED), under which it undertook the writing and publication of textbooks for students at the organization’s educational institutions.
The OAED, as the agency responsible for implementing the country’s workforce employment policy, carried out a broad training program for young people in technical professions, covering nearly all specializations in the technical sector.
At that time, there were 42 apprenticeship centers and schools operating throughout the country, with 12,000 apprentices enrolled in 31 different trades. Between 1973 and 1976, six book titles were published, which are no longer published by the Eugenides Foundation.
