Manuals for driver candidates in various specialties
The Eugenides Foundation’s collaboration with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation began in 1998, when the (then) Ministry of Transportation and Communications commissioned the Eugenides Foundation—while simultaneously establishing a joint Publications Committee— to write, edit, and publish theoretical training manuals for drivers of various specializations, road transport, texts from the Highway Code, etc. At the same time, examination questionnaires for prospective drivers were published and translated into English, Albanian, and Russian for use by foreign nationals living in Greece, along with the answer keys for these questionnaires. A total of 21 publications were issued by the Ministry of Transportation, 12 of which are available below.
In March 2021, the partnership between the Eugenides Foundation and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport was renewed, with the Eugenides Foundation being entrusted, through legislative action (L. 4784) the authority to write and publish textbooks for prospective drivers and drivers of cars, motorcycles, trucks, and buses, including manuals for the Certificate of Professional Competence for truck and bus drivers. This new partnership is expected to result in the publication of six new titles, which will be posted on the website of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
