From 1956 to the present

The Publications Committee, in close cooperation with the relevant ministries or agencies, oversees the writing and publication of textbooks for the respective schools under their jurisdiction.

The entire process of publishing the books, the scientific review of the content in collaboration with scientific advisors and subject-matter experts, and the editing process in collaboration with the authors, etc., falls under its exclusive jurisdiction.

By ministerial decision, this committee also includes officials from various ministries, such as the directors of Technical and Maritime Education, members of the Pedagogical Institute (now the Institute of Educational Policy), the Directors-General, and other officials, depending on the topics under discussion at any given time.

The Foundation’s Publications Committee was established in 1956 with the aim of developing curricula for technical courses, as well as identifying qualified authors to write the textbooks.
