Since 1966, when the Eugenides Foundation Library officially opened its doors to the public, it has operated as a model specialized library, offering two services that were pioneering for their time—and which it continues to provide to this day:

(a) open, free access to its facilities and collections, and

(b) the loan amount for each applicant.

Since early 2023, the Library has been fully renovated, following a redesign of its spaces, collections, and services, which began in 2018 with the goal of better adapting it to the digital age and to contemporary trends and information needs.
