Scientists Who Made "Discoveries" for Humanity
The Eugenides Foundation is harnessing the power of podcasts to enhance narrative-based education. Its Library, in collaboration with the PIOP Library and the “Paramythofono” of the “Center for the Study and Dissemination of Myths and Fairy Tales,” has created the series “Scientists Who Made Discoveries for Humanity,” with the aim of introducing the public to the lives and work of important scientists.
Through scientifically sound yet simple and accessible narratives, the book introduces figures who shaped science, transforming knowledge into a vibrant and accessible experience for all ages.
The series begins with Archimedes and includes figures such as Eratosthenes of Cyrene, Aristarchus, Copernicus, Einstein, Hypatia, and Galileo, as well as Elizabeth Blackwell and George Papanicolaou.
