Drive the future! Discover how self-driving cars think and move—and build your own.

How does a car find the fastest and safest route? What decisions does it make when it faces obstacles or unexpected situations on the road?
If you’re fascinated by AI, algorithms, and smart robots, now’s your chance to experience it up close!

The Eugenides Foundation brings you a hands-on 5-workshop program that puts you at the heart of autonomous navigation and intelligent systems.
What you’ll do:
• Explore graph theory and create grid-based maps to plan routes.
• Learn to find the shortest path with algorithms like DFS, BFS, Dijkstra, and A*.
• Build robot “thinking rules” using rule-based systems with the Experta library in Python.
• Design a smart decision-making system for real-world scenarios with traffic rules, priorities, and obstacle avoidance.
• Test your system in the CoppeliaSim simulator and see it in action.
• Complete a full autonomous navigation system and compete in a mini-challenge where your robot shows off its skills!

Why join:

• Understand the logic behind AI systems and autonomous movement.
• Practice analytical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.
• Get hands-on experience with real tools and cutting-edge technologies.
• Collaborate with others and create something truly smart as a team!

Step into the world of smart robots and discover how they make decisions—just like real drivers!

The workshop is conducted in the Greek language.
