Monaco Explorations | Mediterranean Missions

From October 4 until October 24, 2025

As part of its activities, Monaco Explorations is presenting an exhibition at the Eugenides Foundation with free admission to the public and an educational workshop (in Greek or English):

- The exhibition is entitled "Time for Action: Mediterranean Marine Protected Areas" and is aimed at both the general public and school’s children.
- The educational workshop is entitled "Mediterranean Sea" and is aimed at students aged 12 to 16.

Monaco Explorations is an initiative dedicated to Prince Albert II of Monaco's commitment to knowledge, sustainable management, and protection of the oceans. Building on the legacy of Prince Albert I, a pioneer of modern oceanography, Monaco continues a century of commitment to protecting the oceans.

In 2025, Monaco Explorations launched a new program called Mediterranean Missions, which will run until 2030. The campaign begins with a stop in Greece, the cradle of maritime civilizations and a country with an exemplary commitment to the environment, with which the Principality shares an ancient maritime tradition and a strong commitment to nature.

The Explorations de Monaco program aims to support the strengthening of marine protected areas by leveraging synergies between on-site scientific research, preventive environmental diplomacy, and ambitious citizen mediation.
