The User should and is therefore asked to check Website content for possible changes in the Terms. Logos, brand names, trademarks and attributes contained in this Website belong to the EF and/or persons mentioned as owners of the relevant rights in the Website and are protected in accordance with the applicable industrial and intellectual property laws. Third-party intellectual property that may have been included in the Website has been placed in good faith for information purposes. It is clearly stated that such materials will be removed if so requested by the beneficiaries
Licence to Use
The EF encourages private use of its Website’s content for gaining personal information, as well as its use for educational or research purposes. Use by a business entity, service or organization is not considered private use. For educational or research purposes it is allowed only to reproduce or store individual pages or data subject to the limitation that the origin and the names of the authors (should they appear in the Website) are mentioned and provided and that the relevant industrial or intellectual property rights are not adversely affected in any way.
However, Users should be aware that certain files or data may be intellectual property of third parties (partners of organizations, organizations, companies, etc., that may be indicated in the relevant pages/part of the Website) and cannot be used without the authorization of those third parties.

The EF Website sends newsletters to any Users that so wish, after they have given their explicit consent by completing the relevant form providing certain personal information for which confidentiality and privacy laws apply. In this way Users may register so as to receive information (e.g. newsletters, press releases, etc.) without this action in any way meaning that they acquire intellectual property rights on any such information/data received. In any case the rights to this information are protected by the relevant provisions of Greek and European laws, as well as international conventions, and are exclusively reserved by the EF. Acceptance or not of any User subscription to any service is at the exclusive discretion of the EF, which may also cancel any such subscription.
Any User wishing to receive the EF newsletter is required to fill in his/her name and email address in the special form provided on the Website. Personal records are maintained and processed by the EF for the purpose of communicating with its Users, provide services to them, disseminate information and implement and upgrade the activities, programmes and services that are developed either by the EF itself or in collaboration with other entities in relation to the education of young people in the scientific and technical fields. Personal data collected is exclusively maintained by the EF in an electronic and/or physical file and may be processed for the purposes described above until such time as the User declares his/her wish to no longer receive the newsletter by sending a request to the email address firstname.lastname@example.org or by selecting ‘Unsubscribe’ at the end of the newsletter subscription page.
Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
The EF makes every effort to ensure that all content and information displayed on its Website is correct, clear, accurate, complete, up-to-date and readily available. However, the EF does not under any circumstances provide any guarantee for the Website and therefore is not liable (even through negligence) for any damage that may be caused to the User from use of its Website. The EF also bears no responsibility for any damages (incidental or consequential, including but not limited to loss of profits, data and earnings, etc.) and is not liable for any financial compensation of Website Users or third parties, resulting from Website operation or not, any inability to provide information available or any unauthorized third-party intervention in the information provided through the Website.
Every effort is made to ensure the proper functioning of the network, but in no case does the EF guarantee that the functioning of the Website or its servers will be uninterrupted or error-free, or free from viruses and other malware, be it the EF’s Website itself or another website or server through which its content is transmitted.
No part of the content and information provided on the Website is or may be considered to be in any way, directly or indirectly, incitement, instruction, advice or encouragement for Users’ actions or omissions. Where the Website provides Users with the choice to publish their own content, the EF reserves the right to control this content at submission of applications to publish or during any communication of any kind and to prevent the publication of material of an illegal, threatening, defamatory, abusive, obscene, scandalous, extortionary nature or for any other reason that content might be considered illegal, give rise to legal liability or otherwise violate the law. If content such as that described above comes to the EF’s attention, the Foundation is entitled to remove it/not publish it, without any notice or any further formality.
Users acknowledge the right of the EF to check and approve the material they submit before publishing it on its Website. The EF has the right (but not the obligation) to control, approve, reject or delete content submitted by Users to its Website, and these decisions are not subject to any re-evaluation process.
The EF also reserves the right to delete or refuse the publication of content that violates any rights of use, trademarks, commercial contracts or any other intellectual right (natural or legal), as well as material that violates personal data.
A User who publishes content on the Website declares and unreservedly accepts the following:
* Has the right to submit and publish on the Website content that does not include or does not violate any trademarks, logos, or copyrighted material of any person or legal entity.
* Exempts the EF and its Website from incurring any cost for exploitation rights, fees or any other debt towards anyone because of publication of content submitted by a User to the Website.
* For any person who is photographed in the content submitted, their consent to use his/her image must previously be obtained.

Under no circumstances can the EF be held responsible for damages or losses of any kind (e.g. direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, civil or criminal) resulting from actions of Users of the Website.
