Prior to the shows there was an interesting conversation between Dr Manos Kitsonas, Director of the New Digital Planetarium, and Mr Panos Sakkas, physicist and journalist.

Everybody had the chance to observe, explore and experiment with the basic principles of science, math and the latest technological and scientific accomplishments.

 - Experiments: “Explosive Science”

The science team demonstrates experiments in “real time”, in the Experiment Auditorium on the second floor of Science and Technology Centre.

 
Library

Orientation Course in Wolfram Mathematica
From 20:00 to 21:30
The participants of this orientation course will have the chance to get familiar with Mathematica. The course, which is meant for lyceum and college students, will be conducted by Mr Vasilis Papakonstantinou, technology advisor of the Eugenides Foundation.

Book reading about constellations, for the students of fifth and sixth grades of the elementary school.

UΤech Lab

Everyone can get their picture on the big “green screen” of Utech lab, with impressive backgrounds from the digital show “From Earth to Moon”. Alternatively, they can be photographed as chemists with an explosive experiments background, as demonstrated in the Technology and Science Center, Athena.
