Front-End Web Development is the creation of web pages and web application interfaces. Particularly, it includes the elements and features of a website that a user sees and interacts with. The basic languages that are used in Front-End are HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

The aim of the workshop is to create a functional web page, using the technologies mentioned above. Initially, we will develop our HTML page by defining the appropriate HTML tags, elements and attributes and we will format it, using CSS. Then, we will focus on writing the necessary code in JavaScript, using variables, conditional statements and functions. The functions will perform as event handlers and we will register them accordingly on elements in our HTML file in order to make our page interactive. Finally, we will test the page’s functionality and we will perform the necessary corrective actions, if needed.

No previous experience in programming is required in order to participate.

The workshop is conducted in the Greek language.
